Our U18 Boys are East Mayo 2026 champions after defeating Swinford in a pulsating game, which went to extra time, on a scorline of 2.13. to 0.18, in the C.O.E., Tuesday the 14th.

At half time, Swinford led on a scoreline of 0.08 to 0.04. By full time, the scores were level, 2.09 to 0.15, forcing the game into extra time. By half time of extra time, we led by just 1 point but thankfully, ran out winners by a 1 point margin, to the delight of all our supporters.

On the teams return to Kiltimagh, a large cavalcade drove around the town to celebrate.

Our U16 Boys are East Mayo 2026 champions after defeating St Jarlaths in a pulsating game on a scorline of 1.12. to 0.09, in the C.O.E., last night.

At half time, the score was 1.06 to 0.06 and it was anyones game. Thankfully, to the joy of all supporters, we pulled away, finishing strong and winning by a margin of 6 points.

A large cavalcade drove around the town afterwards and it added to the festivities of the “Race to Glory” which were already in progress.

 Well done to our U14 girls who beat Achill away by 2 points.

They now go forward to meet Mayo Gaels in the final .  

Our U18 girls qualified for the 2026 league final by beating Burrishoole on a scoreline of 6.04 to 0.10.

The final V Louisburgh will be played on 09th of July in the C.O.E. @ 8pm.

We wish them the very best of luck.

Our senior mens team just missed out on promotion when they were beaten by Westport B in the last league game of the 2026 season.

They now turn their attention to their 1st round game of the Intermediate Championship V Tourmakeady, which will be on Saturday, the 08th of August @ 6.3- pm. 

In the Junior C Championship, our Junior team has topped their group and have qualified for a quarter final spot

Kiltimagh Senior Mens recorded a 3.14 to 4.12 win against Ardagh and as a result have put themselves right back into the promotion hunt. 

They are now just 2 points behind 2nd place Westport B whom they play on the 05th of July. A win against them would guarantee qualification for a league final and promotion to Division 3.

A huge congratulations to our U16 girls on reaching the League Shield Final and proudly representing Kiltimagh LGFA at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.

While the result didn’t fall our way against a strong Schrule-Glencorrib side, the girls can be immensely proud of their achievement in reaching a county final. The dedication, commitment, and hard work shown throughout the league campaign were a credit to every player involved.

For many of the girls, the opportunity to play a final at such a fantastic venue was a special experience and a reward for the effort they have put in all season. From our oldest players right down to the younger U14 girls who stepped up when needed, every player played their part and wore the blue and white jersey with pride.

Finals are about more than results; they are about creating memories, gaining experience, and continuing to develop as players and teammates. The lessons learned and the confidence gained from competing on such a stage will stand to this group as they look ahead to the championship.

Well done to all the players and coaches, and thank you to the parents, families, and supporters who travelled and supported the team throughout the campaign. The future is bright for this talented group of girls.
