Oisín’s Campaign

“Every Drop Counts, I Know”

Kiltimagh GAA are proud to have joined forces with this worthy campaign.

Oisín Kelly, a member of Naomh Eoin GAA in Carlow, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in 2021, and after a lengthy battle, he sadly passed in August 2023. Throughout his illness Oisín received many blood and platelet transfusions, and he and his family learned that many cancer patients require blood and platelet transfusions as part of their treatment – this was a vital part of the treatment for Oisín. He aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, especially among young people.

The next local donation clinic takes place:

🩸Kiltimagh Park Hotel
🩸Thursday 14th May 2026
🩸3.50pm – 8.10pm.

New Grounds Development

The redevelopment of our pitch facilities at Kiltimagh GAA Club’s Gilmartin Park is  complete and was officially opened on the 11th of October 2025, by G.A.A. President Jarlath Burns. We have built a new 242-seated cantilever stand, developed two floodlit training areas as well as realigning our main pitch. We are  now actively fundraising to reduce our debt. For our pitch development story, click on the following link.
