Kiltimagh go down to Tourmakeady

Kiltimagh senior finally got their league campaign started yesterday but, unfortunately, it was to be a losing debut in this year's league. In desperate conditions, driving wind and rain, Swinford beat Kiltimagh 0-10 to 0-7. There will be a more serious encounter in 2 weeks time, however! That intermediate championship wil be played in Swinford at 6pm on Saturday 27th May 2012.


Club Development Draw 2012

The Mayo County Board County Development Draw will take place again shortly. Representatives from Kiltimagh GAA Club will be calling with tickets soon and, as usual, they are available from any officer of the Club. The cost of the ticket remains at €100.00 this year but this year the Club will have a number of vouchers from local businesses available to those who purchase the tickets and support the Club. These vouchers will provide benefits to those purchasing tickets and this should result in the tickets proving to be excellent value this year. Local business: Gilmartins, Carrolls, Heneghan’s Pharmacy, The Copy Shop, Finns Shoes, Quinn Farm Supplies, Genfitt, Mulherns, Cill Aodain Court Hotel, The Central Perk, and Park Hotel as well as Eddie Murphy from Ballyhaunis will all be participating in the voucher scheme with various generous promotions on offer.


Senior Team start league on 6th May

The County League Division 1B will now commence on the May Bank Holiday Weekend and Kiltimagh will travel to Bangor Erris to play Kiltane on Sunday 6th May 2012 at 2pm


County Senior League Division 1 v Kiltane

Kiltimagh senior team will have their first outing in Division 1B on Sunday 15th April 2012 away down in Bangor Erris against Kiltane at 2pm. That, of course, is subject to Mayo not making the league semi-final. If Mayo make the semis then this game is likely to get pushed back for a while. However, the Kiltimagh Junior team are out again on Saturday the 14th April 2012 when they play Westport at Gilmartin Park at 6.30pm


County U14 Feile Competition 2012 - Saturday 7th April 2012

Kiltimagh U14 boys have a tough game in the County Feile competition. They play Castlebar Mitchells at Mitchell's pitch at 11am on Easter Saturday. All support welcome!

 


Club Development Draw 2012

Tickets for the Mayo County Board County Development Draw are now available for sale. The first draw commences on the 31st May 2012 and there will be a draw each month from then until October. Top prizes includes a motor vehicle for May and October and €5000.00 on the other months. Kiltimagh lose Centenary Cup Final

Kiltimagh 1-6 Ballaghadereen 0-10: Kiltimagh lost this entertaining encounter by the narrowest of margins at Gilmartin Park on Saturday the 24th March last. Ballaghadereen started the stronger but Kiltimagh kept in touch throughout the first half. A goal from Brian Gallagher mid way thorugh the second half saw them take the lead for the first time but Ballaghadereen rallied to hold out for a one point win.
