Tom Byrne appointed Senior Team Manager for 2007
Jan 8, 2007, 5:28 pm
Tom Byrne, who returned recently from New York with his wife Joan and children, Katie, Martin, TJ and Maggie has been appointed manager of the Kiltimagh Senior Football for the coming year. Tom's appointment was verified by the Club's executive on the 5th January 2007 and he now takes over from the retiring, Tony Langan. However, it is likely that Tony will see out the teams league campaign should the remaining results leave Kiltimagh in a play-off situation. Tom has formed his management team and he will be joined by his brother, Martin Byrne, Marty Malee, Michael Moran and former senior team manager, Pa McNicholas.

Kiltimagh take giant step to secure Division 2 Status
Dec 18, 2006, 5:01 pm
Kiltimagh put in a sterling performance to comprehensively defeat Ballintubber in their final game of the league on Sunday 17th December last. We must now wait and see what is the outcome of the Tourmakeady/Garrymore game on Saturday next. A win for Tourmakeady will see Kiltimagh safe in Division 2. A draw will mean a further playoff between Garrymore and Kiltimagh while a win for Garrymore will condemn Kiltimagh to a further game with Parke, who finished third in Division 3, in a relegation/promotion playoff.
