Coilltes and Davitts to meet again next Sunday at 1.30pm

Kiltimagh 0-11 Davitts 1-8: Kiltimagh and Davitts played out a thrilling draw at Ballyhaunis on Saturday evening. The game was played in the sad backdrop of the death of Mary Kathleen Byrne, mother of manager Tom Byrne and selector Martin Byrne. Kiltimagh probably had the chances to win at the death but neither side will be too unhappy with a draw. The replay will be next Sunday afternoon at 1.30pm, again in Ballyhaunis.

U21s beaten by Shrule/Glencorrib

Kiltimagh 0-14 Shrule/Gencorrib 0-16: Kiltimagh narrowly missed out on a quarter-final place when they lost to Shrule/GlenC on Monday night 13th August 2007. A draw would have been sufficient for Kiltimagh to progress.

Division 2 League Game -v- Crossmolina - Win for Kiltimagh

Kiltimagh consolidated their position at the top of Division 2B win this hard-earned win against Crossmolina's second string. Due to the East Mayo Centenary Cup the game against Kilmaine will not be on Sunday 19th August and instead Kiltimagh will take on Ballyhaunis at 12 noon in Gilmartin Park.

Kiltimagh's U16s Beaten By Swinford

Despite carrying the favorites tag into this East Mayo Championship semi-final, Kiltimagh suffered a comprehensive defeat at the hands of neighbours, Swinford. Kiltimagh, missing a few regulars, never got to the pace of the game and Swinford march on to the Final on a 1-12 to 0-5 scorline.

Kiltimagh Through to Intermediate Quarter-Finals

Kiltimagh 2-14, Kilcommon 2-6. A strong first half performance saw Kiltimagh emerge victorious over Kilcommon on Sunday last (see fixtures and results page for match report) and they now go into the draw for the quarter-finals. The draw will take place on the 13th August 2007 and the games are currently scheduled to be played on the weekend of the 25th/26th August 2007.

Kiltimagh Girls on Mayo Under 12 Team

Kiltimagh have 5 representatives on the Mayo under 12 team who play in the Connacht Final against Galway in the week beginning 16th July 2007. The club are delighted that Mairead Charlton, Melissa Regan, Claire Shannon, Sinead Grogan and Kate Grogan are all in this year's Mayo squad

Castlebar Win Byrne/Morley Tournament

Castlebar had a comfortable victory over the Gardai in this year's Bank of Ireland sponsored Byrne /Morley Tournament final played on Sunday evening 15th July 2007. A depleted Garda side did maintain a challange for the first third of the game but then Castlebar began to pull away and won at a canter.

Juliet McGrath's Team wins Charlton Cup

Juliet McGrath's team had a very narrow win over Patrick McDonnell's team to lift the Charlton Cup on Friday the 15th June last. In a very closely contested game, they held out to win by 2 points on scoeline of 4 goals to 3-1. In the B final, there was another closely fought game but Martin Byrne's team were deserving winners over John McDonell's team.
