KIltimagh were defeated by Kilcommon by two points on Saturday 17th May 2008. It was an eventful game with Kilcommon reduced to 13 men at the fnal whistle. However, in what was never a dirty encounter, Kilcommon's early lead was enough to see them through, as time ran out for the Coilltes.

Shane Ruane's Team gave a very strong performance to beat off the challange of Sean Walsh's Team in the final of the Joseph Mulhern Memorial Cup, played in excellent conditions at Gilmartin Park on Saturday 17th May 2008. Adrian O' Connell's Team also held out for a narrow win against Dean Forkan's Team in the "B" Final.

The finals of the Joseph Mulhern Memorial Cup have been re-scheduled to take place at Gilmartin Park on Saturday 17th May 2008 from 3pm. The B Final is first off at 3pm. That is between Dean Forkan's team and Adrian O' Connell's team. That will be followed by the A Final which is between Sean Walsh's team and Shane Ruane's team.
