Kiltimagh had the wind at their backs in the first half and led by 1-12 to 1-4 at the break. Crossmolina made the best of the wind advantage in the second half and pushed Kiltimagh all the way but Kiltimagh just held out for a one point win. The team of Caoimhe Burke, Aisling Moran, Leanne Mulderrig, Laura Carroll, Valerie McHugh, Shannon Turtill, Nicole Conway and Lisa Ruane turned in a fine performance to win the Rince Foirne competition. Their performance was good enough not only to capture the Mayo crown but they were also crowned Connacht champions. Tickets are again €100.00 for the 6 draws and, as usual, there are very valuable prizes, well worth winning. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased from any member of the executive. Their first half performanace was far from impressive and they took a while to settle in the second half. However, they dominated the last 20 minutes and their much improved performance in that period could have secured them the 2 points but Swinford held out for the draw.
